March 15th

Did you ever stop and think how just one word decides what you do?  It is the word "choice".  Within the 5 published books of God's poetic messages this word or variations of it is shown. Below is just 3 poems from Book #1.

Choose Or Lose

From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours

Book #1, Page 69
(To hear it narrated click "here".)

With each day that comes anew,

with it comes new challenges too.

Some are little but some are great,

those are the ones where your heart will break.

We try our best each day to get through,

but those heartbreakers are tough for me and you.

But in the Bible if you do read,

Jesus said, “Give them all to me!”

It is not just the great challenges that He does care,

but everything in our life He wants to share.

See, our heartaches, our joys, our tears and smiles,

He wants to be a part of them

forever, not just awhile.

So it’s up to us as to what we choose,

without Christ in our lives, we surely will lose.

In happiness or in sorrow, what comes our way,

the praise goes to God, for loving us each day!

What Are You Choosing

From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours

Book #1, Page 74
(To hear it narrated click "here".)

Which way are you going today?

Will you make a turn or will you go straight?

Life is filled with questions,

it is all up to us the choice we make.

Will you try to help someone else today,

or will you just look out for yourself?

Will you pursue the purpose God has for you,

or just keep running all in doubt?

Will you stop and look at all the blessings,

into your life you do receive?

Or will you think you did it all yourself,

is this what you truly believe?

Well, whatever you choose it is up to you,

but remember there are consequences at stake.

See, it is not about this life but the next,

and the choices through life we make.

For me, I choose to follow Christ,

to Him my life I did freely give.

He is making the decisions for me,

yep, that’s my choice how to live!

Choose Wisely

From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours

Book #1, Page 78
(To hear it narrated click "here".)

There is a right way of doing things,

there is also a wrong way too.

Whichever you decide to do,

most times determines what happens to you.

You can decide to live on junk food,

then pay a lot in doctor bills, is what you’ll do.

Or you can choose the food that’s healthy,

see, it is all what you decide to choose.

You can choose to live a sinful life,

but then in hell eternity you will spend.

Or you can choose a life with Christ,

where joy, peace , happiness and love will never end.

There are not a lot of decisions,

that the good Lord will have us make,

It is either right or wrong,

but remember what you choose

will determine your fate!

When we look through Scripture, we don’t see perfect people—we see willing hearts. Men who faced failure, fear, weakness, opposition, and uncertainty, yet chose to walk with God. Their journeys remind us that God does not write stories with flawless characters; He writes them with faithful ones.

God meets us where we are, not where we pretend to be. He takes broken moments and weaves them into purposeful outcomes. What looks like delay, loss, or struggle is often preparation in disguise. Heaven sees beyond the present pain and into the future promise.

Walking with God doesn’t mean the path is easy—it means the destination is secure. Obedience may require courage, faith may demand patience, and perseverance may involve trials, but God never wastes a surrendered life. Every step taken with Him leaves a mark of grace behind.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.”

— Psalm 37:23 (KJV)

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

— Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

“For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous.”

— Psalm 1:6 (KJV)

If you feel unseen, unfinished, or uncertain today, remember this: God is still writing your story. Keep walking. Keep trusting. Keep believing. Your obedience today may become someone else’s encouragement tomorrow.

Stay faithful—God’s hand is steady, even when the road feels shaky.

Broken And Victorious

More, From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours

Book #2, Page 33
(To hear it narrated click "here".)

When I realized I was broken,

I made my greatest gain.

The victory didn’t come in triumph,

but rather through my pain.

How can that be you might ask,

to win when you have lost?

Oh my beloved and precious one,

Jesus taught me that through the cross.

Each one of us must learn to be humble,

to understand we can’t do it on our own.

Cry out to our Creator, “Help me!”,

as He sits upon His Throne.

The Father’s eyes are upon us,

His ears are listening for our pleas.

Just as He heard His Son cry out from the cross,

Praise His Holy Name, I know He can hear me.

The Fire Within

More, From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours

Book #2, Page 62
(To hear it narrated click "here".)

My heart was cold

from this world of sin.

Jesus said, “What you need,

is a fire within!

It starts with a spark,

then will grow with love,

the fuel you need

will come from above.”

With my chilled heart

I cried, “Lord, let it be,

please through Your love,

ignite a spark in me!”

Then within a second,

the chill began to fade.

The spark was lit,

through Jesus’ name!

So in this life,

it’s not too late to begin,

all you need

is the fire within!

I came across this posting from 2024 that I posted on Facebook.  How true this is.  Well, for sure all of the Word of God is "true".  I posted a poem below that also states it very well from my 5th book of poems.

Genesis 6:6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Now fast forward to Genesis chapter 7

11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

Now fast forward to Genesis chapter 18

23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

and

26 And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

now to

32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

Now fast forward to Genesis chapter 19

24 Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;

25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

Now fast forward to today.

Wake up America!!!

The Sound Of Hammering

From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours, "Message Delivered"

Book #5, Page 88
(To hear it narrated click "here".)

There was a sound of hammering

on a sunny day many years ago.

A man named Noah was pounding away

because the Lord instructed him so.

I would imagine many people laughed

as they went about their day,

not realizing that shortly

a storm would be on its way.

The people’s lives were good to them,

it seemed they had

everything they did need.

But they did not want God,

though what they had

was from Him indeed.

Well, the hammering did continue

until Noah’s work was done.

Most know the story for all of a sudden,

Heaven opened up and the rain did come!

Forty days and forty nights,

it rained without any reason.

But really what happened like today,

was to God, the people

just did not listen!

This post, the Lord brought to mind another of His messages from my 2nd book of poems. It is called "A Prayer".

Now as I reread this poem what He also brought to mind was another poem titled "The Answer", also from the 2nd book of poems.  Also a testimony about a woman named Sharon that was looking for answers.  If you go to my "Testimony" page you can read about that.

A Prayer

More, From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours

Book #2, Page 59
(To hear it narrated click "here".)

I sent a prayer

to God above,

and asked it be blessed

by His grace and love.

I then did wait

to hear from Him,

for I knew I must be still

and be quiet within.

Whatever the result,

that He will send,

I know will bring glory

and honor to Him.

For answered prayer

is what He does.

Trust and obey

is all up to us.

The Answer

More, From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours

Book #2, Page 74

(To hear it narrated click "here".)

I heard a knock on my heart,
Jesus said, “Are you there?
I wanted to let you know
the Father and I just heard your prayer.

We know what you are going through,
just wanted to let you know it will be all right.
Keep focusing on Us,

as you go about your day,
and even throughout your night.

The answer you are looking for,
We will be sending by a friend.
Remember it may not be

what you want to hear,
but is what you will really need to mend.

So you will hear many answers,
but look for the one that is so very true.
See the answer will come

from the friend’s heart,
for like Me, he loves you too!”

It has been awhile since I posted on my Heart Blog page.  For sure I am always trying to reach out to whomever I can with God's message of love and grace.  He has spoken to my heart in a poetic way that I truly believe by those that are willing to hear Him speak.  The poem below I think describes it very well.  I pray you will agree.

You can also hear it narrated by clicking  "here".  God bless!

Why Do I Do It

More, From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours

Book #2, Page 127

I am a servant of the Lord,

that is truly what I want to be.

Everything I do is for Him

and nothing is done for me.

Everything I need or will ever want,

He supplies all for me.

So why should I worry about this,

He takes care of everything, you see.

All I do is what He wants,

touching others just like Him,

once you get your eyes off yourself,

well, that’s when life truly begins.

So if you wonder, “Why do I do it?”

I hope you can tell by my grin,

I do because He loves me,

I do it because I love Him!
